Tour Plan
DAY 01: GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
After your arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, meet our representative and transfer to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 4-5 hrs drive).
Kaziranga, the heart of Assam, covers an area of 430 sq. km and is home to the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses. You can also spot elephants, tigers, deer, and various bird species.
In 1985, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique ecosystem.
In the evening, enjoy a local Bihu Dance cultural program (on direct payment basis).
Overnight stay at Kaziranga Resort/Hotel.
DAY 02: KAZIRANGA JUNGLE SAFARI – SHILLONG
Wake up early morning for an Elephant Safari (subject to availability) in the Eastern Range of the park to witness rhinos and other wildlife up close.
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, enjoy a Jeep Safari in the Central Range (Kohora) of the park.
After lunch, proceed to Shillong (approx. 5 hrs). En route, visit the scenic Umiam Lake (the largest man-made lake in Northeast India).
On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Cathedral of Mary and the Polo Grounds, or explore the lively Police Bazaar for shopping.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI – SHILLONG
After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, known as the Cleanest Village in Asia. Enjoy the stunning views from the Sky Walk and witness the famous Living Root Bridge.
After lunch, proceed to Dawki, a small border town on the Indo-Bangladesh border. Enjoy boating on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, where you can literally see the riverbed through the water.
Visit the Suspension Bridge over the river and enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty.
Return to Shillong in the evening.

DAY 04: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – GUWAHATI
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, famed as one of the wettest places on Earth.
