Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival NJP / IXB – Phuentsholing (Approx. 4–5 hrs drive)
Meet our representative upon arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Drive to Phuentsholing, the Gateway of Bhutan, situated beside the Indian town of Jaigaon.
➡️ Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (Approx. 175 kms / 6–7 hrs)
After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities (permits issued by the Department of Immigration). After receiving permits, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
➡️ Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit:
- National Memorial Chorten – built in honor of Bhutan’s Third King.
- Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point) – panoramic view of Thimphu Valley.
- Changangkha Monastery – oldest temple in Thimphu.
- Takin Preserve Center – see Bhutan’s national animal.
- Changlimithang Stadium & Archery Ground – national sport display.

- Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery – serene hilltop monastery.
