Day 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG
Morning after on arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, assistance and warm traditional welcome byour representative and visit famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) a seat of the tantric cultin India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country and then transfer to Shillong. Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India Umiam Lake. ReachingShillong after a 3 hours journey (approximately), we check n at a city Hotel. Day 02: SHILLONG- CHERRAPUNJEE
Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is
famed for being the wettest place in the world.
After a drive of 1 ½ hours amid pine trees and mists we
reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses
some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In
Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sister
falls, Mawsmai Caves, Dainthlen Fall, Mawkdok
Valleview point, Wei Sawdoney Falls, Thangkharang
Park, Arwa Cave, And Eco Park. Later Back to Resort
Overnight at Cherapunjee.
Day 03: TREK TO DOUBLE DECKER
Wake up early , have your breakfast and go
for trekking to the Double Decker living root
bridge and Rainbow Falls. Evening return to the
resort. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Day 04: CHERAPUNJEE – MAWPHLANG SACRED FROEST- SHILLONG
Today morning after breakfast and visit
to Mawphlang sacred forest. Nothing is allowed to
beremoved from the forest as it may upset the deity. Later
returned back to Shillong. Evening free
forleisure. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 05: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG - DAWKI – SHILLONG
Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to
Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanestvillage
Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the sky walk.
Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge. ]After lunch
drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where
major export and importtransactions take place. It is a
splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep
gorges and ravineswhich is certainly a thrilling
experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, the
Umngotriver is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or
Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills overwhich a
single span suspension bridge was constructed. Later
Drive Back to Shillong, Overnightat Shillong.
Day 06: SHILLONG – KRANSURI WATER FALLS – SHILLONG
Today Morning after breakfast and visit Jowai –
Krangsuri waterfalls Spent some time over there
andLater drive to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 07: SHILLONG- GUWAHATI
Today after breakfast check out from the Hotel
and explore the Shillong sightseeing visit Don
BoscoMuseum, Cathedral of Mary, Ward’s Lake located
at the heart of the city which is popular for its garden
walks and boating, Lady Elephant Falls situated on the
outskirts of the city. Later Back to on the outskirts ofthe
city. Later Back to Guwahati. Evening Leisure at Guwahat City.Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 08 : GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Early Morning after breakfast visit Rope Way Over
Brahmaputra River, Basitha
Ashram, BalajiTemple, Umananda
Island, Nabagrah, Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra-a
cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and
culture of the people of Assam. Evening River Cruise on
the mighty river Brahmaputra . Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 09: GUWAHATI AIRPORT
After breakfast check out from the hotel and then
transfer to Guwahati Airport for the
onwardjourney with a lot of sweet memories and
